Description of the practice:

This programme is divided into different phases, including: raising awareness, visits to VET centres in Andalusia, meeting a selection of entrepreneurs, delivery of entrepreneurial education in CADE (Centro de Apoyo al Desarrollo Empresarial - the Andalusian centre for entreprebneurial deelopment), and then participation in the two existing regional contests and presenting an entrepreneurial plan or an idea.

Timing:

This one is the 7th edition.

The story:

The programme started back in 2002 with reduced content including visits to Andalusian VET centres and a contest. It now includes visits throughout the year, delivery of entrepreneurial education in CADE, and two contests (entrepreneurial plan and ideas).

Availability:

The whole year. Example: those presenting an Entrepreneurial plan at the regional contests have until June 2009 to prepare the plan. The delivery of prizes is in November 2009. There are visits to centres throughout the whole school year.
