Sub-title (English):
Education and Entrepreneurship
Title:
Seminar The (L)Earning Project (the Netherlands)
Type of practice:
Interactive Seminar with a few key-note speeches, round-table discussion and speed-dating.
Target group:
Students, teachers, developers, policy makers and researchers
Description of the practice:
The aim of this international seminar was to bring students, teachers, developers, policy makers and researchers together and share experiences, knowledge and good practices on this subject. Bringing entrepreneurship into education can be seen as a hype in all kinds of education. There are many ideas, visions and plans made by ministries and
managers, but it seems difficult to translate this into concrete action. The Seminar looked at how to find your way through the maze of entrepreneurial activities and how to chose which activities fit best within different educational situations. The Seminar aimed to support those present to come closer to the answers to these issues.
The keynote speaker was Dr David Gibson from Queens University, Belfast, UK. In addition several workshops were offered for the general public as well as for students and / or teachers specifically.
